5° to Success is a networking experience open to all professionals—men and women alike. Inspired by Buffalo’s reputation for small degrees of separation, this event is designed to help attendees forge at least five meaningful new connections. With a mix of open networking, guided activities, and a networking fair, 5° to Success bridges industries, fosters collaboration, and celebrates the power of professional relationships.
For women professionals seeking to network in a way that feels truly authentic, Networking Beyond Your Job Title offers a space like no other. Built on the belief that “women network differently,” this women-only event creates an environment where trust, vulnerability, and collaboration take center stage. Here, women are encouraged to connect as their whole selves, building relationships that inspire personal and professional growth.

NETWORKING
Our first core value, Givers Get, is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in the transformative power of giving freely—time, knowledge, and support—without expectation. WINC members embrace generosity, not for recognition or reward, but because giving back is essential to building a thriving community.
Philanthropy has always been a cornerstone of WINC, inspired by the vision of our co-founder, Chris Belin. Before WINC was founded, Chris launched Sip.Shop.Support., a fundraising event that directly benefited local nonprofits supporting women and children. When WINC was established, Chris brought this beloved event into our community, where it evolved into Prom 2.0—a larger-scale celebration of giving. In 2024, Prom 2.0 was a resounding success, further cementing our commitment to philanthropy.
Today, WINC continues this legacy through quarterly philanthropic initiatives that focus on creating a positive impact on local organizations supporting women, children, and families. These initiatives include:
Drives for Goods: Collecting essential items for organizations that serve our community.
Volunteer Opportunities: Coming together to lend our time and talents to nonprofits.
Special Projects and Events: Offering creative ways to give back.
These smaller, more frequent initiatives allow WINC members to actively engage in giving while honoring Chris’s vision of service. With every act of generosity, we strengthen our community and reaffirm our belief that success is only possible when we lift others along the way.
PHILANTHROPY
WINC is a high-vibration container where ambitious women come together to build wealth, foster sisterhood, and amplify success through intentional relationships. Founded in 2019 by Desirae Currier and Chris Belin, WINC was created to offer something rare—a space where women grow together, in every sense of the word.
Now solely led by Desirae, WINC continues to evolve as a movement—a living, breathing community built on the belief that success is not a solo journey.
At WINC, we don’t just make connections—we create transformation. Members don’t compete; they co-create. We believe trust and vulnerability are powerful currencies in business and life, and we build on that foundation every day.
