As a Mentor, your role is to help our new Top-Tier or Core level member navigate her membership benefits and our community for the first 3 months of her membership.
In month 1 a new members should:
Complete all the onboarding modules and their membership forms.
Access her Membership Homepage.
Engage on Slack.
Schedule ONE or more 1:1 meetings.
Set her goals.
In month 2 a new members should:
Complete her 1st submittal.
Schedule ONE or more 1:1 meetings.
Engage on Slack.
Provide presentation feedback.
Participate in Community Building with TBB-Buffalo (if available).
Participate in the Mastermind Program (if applicable).
In month 3 a new members should:
Complete her 2nd submittal.
Schedule ONE or more 1:1 meetings.
Engage on Slack.
Provide presentation feedback.
Participate in Community Building with TBB-Buffalo (if available).
Participate in the Mastermind Program (if applicable).

Referral & Thank-You Rebate Program
WINC’s Referral Rebate Program rewards Core and Top-Tier members who help grow our community by bringing in new members. Here’s how it works:
Referral Rebate: When you refer a new Core or Top-Tier member to WINC, you’re eligible for a $100 rebate. To qualify, you’ll need to mentor your referral during their first three months to ensure they have a positive, supportive start within WINC. After three months of active membership, the rebate will be issued via Venmo.
Thank-You Rebate for Volunteer Mentors: You can also volunteer as a mentor for new members who join without a referral. As a thank-you, you’ll receive a $50 rebate after the new member completes their first three months.
Active Member Requirements: To qualify for either rebate, members must maintain active status, which includes staying current on monthly submittals, completing at least one 1:1 meeting per month, volunteering at one WINC event, and attending at least 50% of meetings.
