Hey! My name is Chris and I am a connector. I am married to Mike, have 2 cute kiddos- Ellie & Tommy, a sweet dog named Marty. I am a proud lifelong Buffalonian.
On any given week, you can find me at one my kids’ games, an event that empowers women or eating tacos. Extra avocado, please! And on Sundays - cheering for the Buffalo Bills or hanging with my husband in our backyard.
My life completely shifted in 2009. After a successful career in Banking, I became a Mom to Ellie. Like most first time mothers, I struggled with having to return to work. This unique time in my life proved that “necessity truly is the mother of invention”. So, I started my first consulting business and quit my job. This was a super hasty decision, one that I would not recommend, but I was definitely excited about the path I was on.
After a few years struggling to figure things out on my own, I realized that I needed to be with others who were on a similar path. I tried different types of networking groups, and nothing was quite right. In late 2018, when Desirae Currier asked me if I wanted to start a women’s networking group with her, I immediately responded: “YES!!!”.
I hope that WINC is a place for women to be supported personally, professionally and mentally. We juggle so much as women, and having other women to lean on is EVERYTHING!
